PIANO LESSONS
I offer Piano lessons from beginning to intermediate levels. I encourage students to think outside the box and to use critical thinking tools to solve musical questions.
I feel that it is important to always present students with constructive questions in their lessons so they will have the necessary guidance and tools to become musically self sufficient.
CLARINET LESSONS
I teach any age and all levels of clarinetists. As a pedagogue my teaching style differs from student to student and is based on their various styles of learning. To engage students I believe in a safe, dynamic, challenging and fun learning atmosphere. I believe that integrating the use of technology into my lessons is an evaluable tool.

Your first month’s payment plus a one-month deposit is due at the time of registration. The regular monthly payment is automatically charged the first of the month on a Visa, MC, or Discover card. Deposits will be applied to the last month’s tuition. If you begin lessons partway through the month, your first payment will be pro-rated. Days off are: Memorial Day (5/24/14-5/26/14), Independence Day (6/3/14-6/4/14), Labor Day (8/30/14-9/1/14), Thanksgiving Break (11/26/14-11/30/14), and Winter Break (12/23/14-1/4/15). Your monthly payment does not change since these days off are already figured into the monthly tuition rate.
Each student is required to keep a credit card securely on file. I accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover (Cash or Check also accepted). Your credit card will be charged on the first of each month.
Attendance Policy
Regular attendance of lessons is necessary for progress on continuity. The tuition you pay reserves a specific lesson time (example: Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00) each week, therefore, your lesson cannot be rescheduled without prior notice.
Make-ups Policy
I try very hard to offer make-ups for to students, however, make-ups are not guaranteed. If you have to miss a lesson, I require that you provide written notice 24 hours in advance in order to receive a make-up. To provide notice you may email me at TerellmJohnson@gmail.com. If you do not provide written notice, you forfeit your lesson and are not eligible for a make-up. You may recoup your make-up in the time slot of an absent student.
Make-ups do not expire as long as you are an enrolled student. Credits are not applied for missed lessons. If you stop taking lessons, all unused make-ups are forfeited.
In the case of a teacher absence, a minimum of 24 hours notice will be given and the lesson will be credited.
Discontinuing Lessons
Please provide written notice that you intend to discontinue private lessons before the first day of your last month (example: If final month is May, please provide notice before May 1, 2015). Otherwise monthly automatic payment will be submitted.
